The Opportunity

The Program Support Officer has responsibility to undertake the day to day Program Operations and financial support of the Project in four districts (Faridpur, Madaripur, Shariatpur and Kushtia) under the Dhaka region. The position will work to ensure the high standards of financial and administrative integrity and accountability including all legislative obligations. As a key person of this function, s/he will be directly responsible for providing financial and administrative support for effective and quality implementation of the program activities mainly at districts and upazila level. S/he will facilitate and keeping record and maintain appropriate finance and administrative documents and financial reporting at district level in consultation with Senior Officer- Finance and Operations. District Managers and PNGO Staff will team member at district level. This position is created considering mega area of Dhaka Region and to assist Senior Officer- Finance and operations.

Qualifications and experience

  • At least 3 Years working experience in Finance and Admin/ relevant work.
  • Demonstrated experience of work with government specially with MOHFW will be preferred
  • Sound understanding on office administration, facilities, logistics & secretarial functions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently and manage multiple priorities at the same time
  • Proficiency in MS Office with Bangla typing skill

  • Excellent coordination skill, especially with project specific different stakeholders
  • Excellent skills for organizing training /workshop/meeting/seminars.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Bangla typing skill will be an advantage
  • Bachelor Degree, preferably in Social Sciences/Business Studies or relevant field
